ACNL Nursing Research and EBP
The primary purpose of the ACNL Nursing Research & EBP Committee is to support, encourage, and facilitate California nurse leader participation in research and evidence-based leadership activities. The Nursing Research & EBP Committee functions under the ACNL strategic focus to prepare nurses to transform self, others and systems.
Research Development – Contributes to new knowledge by participating in and/or providing consultation in the design, implementation, analysis, and publication of nursing leadership research that aligns with and supports the mission and goals of ACNL.
Research Utilization – Supports efforts to identify and integrate research findings that are sufficient and appropriate to apply to nursing leadership development/practice and professional organization success
Research Education – Develops educational programs on the generation and utilization of research and evidence-based leadership practice
Research Dissemination – Provides structures and processes for the dissemination of nursing research and other levels of evidence
Application to Conduct Research with ACNL
ACNL supports nursing research and scholarly activities (e.g. evidence-based practice or performance improvement projects). ACNL will provide access to the membership database for identifying potential participants for research studies or other scholarly endeavors for qualifying projects.

ACNL members are invited to share their expertise and research interests with the Research and EBP Committee. The committee may then reach out to you for speaking engagements, research collaboration, and other opportunities.
